I am running the 2020 London Marathon in aid of the charity First Step. First step helps families that have children with special needs. It started as a place where parents could group to talk, share experiences and provide support in a non judgmental way.

After over 30 years, the charity has evolved in to providing sessions and services to the families who need it most. First step are currently working with over 100 pre-school children and their families offering educational services, support, information and encouragement.

First Step’s mission is to provide the best possible environment to support each family and to enable their very young children with special needs and/or disabilities to maximise their individual potential.

Also my mum, Cath, worked for the charity and I want to show her how appreciative and proud I am of all her hard work over the years. 

Thank you so much, now back to getting cold and wet on the pavements of Chelmsford!
