We’re a group of friends who love the outdoors and enjoy walking together, usually on a Thursday. Over the last couple of years we’ve walked miles over our local Lancashire and Yorkshire countryside (in all weather).

 We decided a few months ago to set ourselves a challenge and hike a long distance trail and chose the 92 miles Dales Highway, this starts in Saltaire and finishes in Appleby, taking in the stunning high Dales. It will take us seven days to complete the hike walking between 10 - 18 miles each day. 

While we are enjoying this challenge and comparing blisters we decided to take the opportunity to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice. It’s a charity that’s close to all of us, many of us regularly volunteer and support the Hospice’s fundraising events.
