Thank you so much for taking the time and making the effort to get this far! If you can bear with me for a few moments longer I would like to tell you my story. My friends Jacquie and Liz asked me to join them in cycling 350km for 5 days in Kilimanjaro in October to rasie money to fight cancer. I didn't think it possible as I had just had a hip replacement 11 months previously. But the challenge of mountain biking across difficult terrain, camping at night and pushing myself out of my comfort zone - is NOTHING compared to the difficulties a teenager who has been diagnosed with cancer will have to face. The Teenage Cancer Trust South West Appeal is funding specialist services and facilities for young people with cancer, aged 13 to 24 years, across the South West of England which will include the construction of a cancer unit here in Bristol. As I am self funding this challenge, ALL money I raise will go DIRECTLY to Teenage Cancer Trust. They need a further £1 million to ensure the unit becomes operational in 2014. Le'ts make it happen!
Thank you for sponsoring me .
