In 2018 I started my MA research project titled 'Mental Health Monsters'. My intention was to increase awareness of mental illness through art and design pieces and address how creative practice can support wellbeing. 

Throughout my journey I have considered how art and design can make a difference. I have been asked the following; "What can your work do that is bigger than yourself?" Considering that question I  designed, printed and made a menswear coat (size XS/M oversized fit XS and S ) to fundraise for the charity CAL. This one off piece is being raffled and all funds raised will go to support CALM.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably.
