Story
I am so excited to have been selected to run the London Marathon 2021 for Ty Hafan. I love a challenge and this is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity.! My middle name is “stubborn” !! I know it’s going to be tough, but I can’t wait!
I started running a few years ago, aged 47.... a friend thought it was a good idea to do a park run as the start of her hen party celebrations... one thing led to another and I realised how much I was benefiting from running. Mentally and physically.
The furthest I have ran previously is half marathon distance. I was supposed to be running the Cardiff Half Marathon this year for Ty Hafan... but Covid had other ideas!!
So here, I am... doubling my distance. Say it quick, it doesn’t sound much!
Let’s do this and raise lots of money for Ty Hafan and it’s wonderful children and families !!!
(All monies raised while training for the Cardiff half (£1048) will now go towards my London 2021 total and is in addition to what’s showing on this page)
