I'm hoping for some wonderful sponsorship again for EnCourage Survivors of Cults and Abuse. Everyone has been so kind supporting me in previous ones whether finanicially or with encouragement or both. Keep up the good work:)This is my 4th Sheffield Half Marathon. Throughout the winter I have been preparing for this event which has a 304 metre elevation into the Peak District.  The weather has not been kind as we all know. This elevation is in contrast to the declination that people with a history within a cult or abusive relationship are exposed to.  Being in the Peak District there is wonderful freedom, however hard it is to run up into them.  No one ever would think "Mmmm, let me join a cult, it would be so good to give away my freedom."  I don't know much about abusive relationships to be honest but the charity I'm running for provide the funds for people needing separation from both aspects. It takes courage to leave, sometimes mentally, sometimes physically.   An abuse of power is wrong in whatever form and creates chaos.  Are all cults toxic?  No.  Are there many which have and continue to ensnare people.  Yes.  My endeavour has so far raised about £3000.  I'm hoping to make it to £4000 this year with your help and to keep the subject alive - that way we all  us all a little bit safer.  The money is so appreciated by the people it has helped so far so cheers to you.  If you want to know anything please ask, and please do sponsor me.

Thank you, love Sarah xxxx
