Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My beautiful second daughter, Charlotte's twin sister, Eva would (and should) be turning 5 this summer, had she not died at the age of six months after an operation to correct her oesophagus went tragically wrong.

So with Eva in my heart, I'm joining Aoife Goldie and her merry band of 5 for 5 Challengers to climb Mount Snowdon on Saturday 21 May. Aoife and John's first son, Seamus, would also be turning 5 this year had he not been stillborn. And something tells me Eva and Seamus would have been the best of friends (just like their siblings Hugo and Charlotte).

You can read more about the challenge (and get involved by pledging £5 to do a 5-related challenge of your own!) at 5for5challenge.com. We'll also be carrying pebbles inscribed with the names of babies who have died to the summit as part of the pebble project: 5for5challenge.com/the-pebble-project/
