We are setting off from the Talbot Head Hotel, 22 Shawclough Rd, Rochdale, OL12 6LG at 9.30am with a 35km route approx along the Lobden-Watergrove Loop. A shorter return route is available at halfway if needed.

On return for those of us who make it there is a buffet, disco, raffle and auction at the Talbot Head.

Springhill Hospice needs to raise approx £2.85 million a year to keep its doors open. The services provided by the Hospice are free of charge. They care for adults aged 18 and over with a life limiting illness. As well as caring for in-patients they provide respite care, pain and symptom control, counselling for patients and family members, a day hospice for out-patients, hospice care in the home and bereavement advice.
