Story
On Wednesday 18th June 2008 the fight to save Ropafadzo's life ended.
Fadzo suffered from Aplastic Anaemia, a rare and serious blood disorder in which bone marrow stops making enough new blood cells. There were no facilities in Zimbabwe that could help Ropafadzo with the specialist care and medicines that she required. She required regular blood transfusions and a bone marrow transplant.
This page has been set up in memory of her wonderful life as a way to donate funds to help disadvantaged children in Zimbabwe. The fund will be managed by Hope for Children (www.hope4c.org) who will ensure that all monies donated will be spent wisely and effectively to make a real difference.
Please help in any way you can towards this large fundraising appeal. Donations can also be sent by post, making cheques payable to: "Hope for Children (RB)", to: Hope for Children, 14a Queensway, Hemel Hempstead HP1 1LR.
You can also choose to make a regular monthly donation by going to our website - http://www.hopegift.co.uk
I will personally make sure that the funds are used correctly.
With thanks
Simon Jackman, Chief Executive, HOPE
