We work in the world's toughest places to ensure children are in education.

Story

Jennifer Bullock, on behalf of SaxonAir (in partnership with East Anglian Air Ambulance), is partaking in a voluntary scheme for Street Child of Sierra Leone this October,

Please help her, help them...

After the devastating news of the Sierra Leoneon mudslide last month, Jennifer, with the support of SaxonAir, has decided to contribute her time, skills and money to assist Street Child to help children who have been left
homeless, schooless and in some cases parentlesslooking only to Street Child for support.

Jennifer will be swapping her (self admitted) comfortable, corporate life
to support the needs of children living in a third world country, currently trying (and struggling) to recover from a natural disaster.

Jennifer will be taking toys donated by the East Anglian Air Ambulance to distribute to children affected by the tragedy.

The work will also include hands on labour within the communities affected, and using her extensive Marketing and PR expertise to assist the sierra Leoneon branch of Street Child to make the most of their digital resources by maximising exposure - In the hope to raise as much awareness and money for those children affected as possible.

Street Child's aim is to
protect, educate, empower and offer emergency care for the vulnerable children of Sierra Leone. These simple necessities are something we do not consciously consider living in England. With laws in place to protect the young, free/ compulsory education and a free health care system we nurture the children of our country to the best of our ability. A privilege that the children of Sierra Leone do not have.

Street Child have already put 8,000+ children into schooling, helped 200+ adults become qualified teachers and created 30,000 new school places... As the daughter of an English teacher and a government adviser of education, this cause is very close to Jennifer's heart.

Throughout her upbringing, Jennifer's parents also fostered children from less fortunate backgrounds, aiming to offer a foundation to childhood that would support them unquestionably throughout life. This same sentiment resounds in Jennifer.

Although these circumstances are not on our doorstep, please take a moment to consider supporting those who truly need it, when they truly need it - childhood.

Jennifer's
fiancé is currently a Liaison Officer for the British Army in Sierra Leone, partaking in some commendable work. For this visit Jennifer had the choice; either spend her time locked in a secure British compound, with a pool and a gym, or, make a difference. Commendably, she picked the latter.

Jennifer will be documenting her work in Freetown, Sierra Leone, in October 2017.

Any
contribution would be greatly and sincerely appreciated.

Submerging yourself in a third world country to try and make a difference would unquestionably have a large impact on anyone. So please help make this sacrifice of time to a worthy cause one that will have an equal impact on Street Child's funding.

The cheque will be presented to Street Child on behalf of SaxonAir on October 20th...

So please, get donating!
