Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many of you may know Scott the cyclist, I've been lucky to ride my bike in some fantastic locations and take on some amazing challenges; 3 assents of Mt Ventoux in the same day, London to Paris via Holland and Belgium in 4 days, The North East 250 loop in 2 days,  and the Fred Whitton Challenge to name but a few. I have however had an itch I've wanted to scratch for a while now so I'm hanging up the lyrca (briefly I hope), changing cycling shoes to trainers, chamois cream to anti chafe rub and heading off to run the Baxsters Loch Ness Marathon.

Voted in the top 10 UK Marathons but Runners World, Loch Ness will be my first full marathon, I've been "training" for the last few months and set out a lofty target of A- finishing, B- going sub 4 hours and if all ridiculously well C- 3:45 (just because it reads well).

I've chosen Kayleighs Wee Stars as my charity, for the tireless work put in by the Cordiners and the fact the money really does make a difference by providing financial support for families where a child has a terminal illness. In the last 5 years, they have donated over £400,000 to 170 families across Scotland. We need your support to ensure they can continue to help brave families make precious memories together.

I apprecaite times remain tough for many, Aberdeen is recovering from a serious beating in the past few years with the oil industry and Brexit remains a cause of uncertainty but your donation, however big or small would be hugely apprecaited.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
