As you may or may not know, my fiance Amanda was diagnosed with breast cancer in September. I've decided that, as she is unable to drink during the duration of her chemotherapy, I am going to quit drinking for the duration of this time in order to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. I've drank (fairly regularly since I was in my late teens) so this will definitely be the longest period of abstinence since then.
