Living by the sea I am reminded each time I visit a beach of the amount of trash that winds up in the ocean. The sea around Cornwall is a desert compared to once was. The coastline is dotted with huers huts where once the lookout would raise a "Hue and Cry" on seeing a vast miles long shoal of pilchards, the shoals are no more, but it need not be that way.
Surfers Against Sewage is leading the way in raising awareness of the damage we are doing and what can be done, this is a gift for the next generation.
