Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The reason that I am trying to raise money for The Wingate Centre is that we believe it is a good local cause who help children from the area who are less fortunate and struggle with different disabilities. A person in my group has previously helped there and have experienced the good work that The Wingate Centre actually do and has seen the outcomes first hand from their work. We are doing this with the National Citizen's Service program and our aim is to give back into the community and have a positive impact on our area. The fundraising is all going straight to the charity and we are going to help the center by helping with the gardening and doing various jobs around the center and help in any way that we can. We are also going to help by painting and cleaning the gymnasium that is there and used by a plethora of the children who visit the center. Any money donated would be a huge help and is greatly appreciated as it will go a far way in helping the charity.

Starting Monday 16th of August we will be going into The Wingate Centre and begin our work by tidying up the garden, refurbishing the benches, remaking the sensory trail useable and repainting the corridors. This will be a huge help to the centre as it's a job they need doing and would have to pay large quantities of money for contractors to do. The Wingate Centre is all self funded so anything that they need doing all comes from fundraising so
If you could donate to out page you will be helping is greatly, thanks.
