Unfortunately the world in which we live in today is not as safe as it once once. There are people who are intent on destroying our way of life - fortunately for us there are also people who are brave enough to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect that way of life.

We have long relied on our armed forces to protect us and allow us to go about our daily lives. Recent global events means that they have been called into action on a number of fronts including both Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Royal Marines have borne the brunt perhaps more than any other unit. On the evening of 20th October we will be trying to give a little back. We are raising funds to help those that have done and given so much for us. The Royal Marine Charity helps wounded and injured Marines as they transition into civilian life as well as supporting those families members directly affected by the aftermath of conflict.
