Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

You probably know Prostrate Cancer Kills 1 person every hour - but did you know that Sepsis kills 4 people every hour?!

As many of you know, my Dad was very ill a few years ago - now I'm finally doing something to help raise awareness of (one of) the horrible things that he was lucky enough to fight through.

Please help support me and the team on our bike ride, which we will be doing to raise money and the awareness of sepsis.

Soooo, I'm sure you all know me well enough to know that I don't exercise. So the fact I'm doing this is enough of a reason to dig deep in your pockets to support me :)

If you know me - the gratitude is here from my Dad - http://sepsistrust.invisionconnect.com/index.php/files/file/1-thanks-to-the-whole-team/

If you need more inspiration - then it's here - http://sepsistrust.org/personal-stories/

Now Do It - Help us save 12,000 lives a year - just by raising awareness ...

Brad Sollis - & a few of my good friends - Mikey Smith, Jack Dodd and the Med  Team!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
