10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those that know me know I love to run. I love to run so much I spend a lot of time helping others run, with my Couch to 5K programme at Witham Runners. Those that have known me a long, long time know that I used to hate running. Things change. I'm running the marathon because it's a challenge I've looked to for the past ten years or so, but never quite had the guts or self-belief, but this year, I'm conquering it. I'm running for Ataxia UK to raise awareness of those people who can't take simple things like running for granted, like my brother who needs daily help with his condition. Please donate and show your support. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
