We Develop lakeside primary healthcare to improve the lives of remote communities

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

The renovation of the 110 year old ship, the Chauncy Maples, will bring basic healthcare to 500,000 lakeside people in Malawi.

Inspired by this visionary goal, we, the Ladies of the Reed Smith Shipping Department, have chosen to use the first Annual Ladies vs. Gents Netball Match to raise a few bob in order to help the Chauncy Maples Malawi Trust reach its funding target.

And so, the challenge has been set! Should we raise £300, our fearless gentlemen colleagues will wear wigs during the game. Should we raise £400, they will wear wigs and skirts!

As frightening as that may sound, please dig deep and help us support this excellent cause. And, let's face it, it should all be good fun too!

We should mention, of course, that the Gents are running a similar JustGiving page so please feel free to support them - all the money goes to the same place - but we firmly believe our target, if reached, will have the most entertaining results.

Thank you.

Sarah Choudhry, Thor Maalouf, Lucy Longmore, Angela Hampshire, Charlotte Davies, Cristin MacCann, Anja McGuiness and Chloé Rogers
