Thanks for thinking of sponsoring me. This is my first (and probably last!) marathon and at the moment 26 miles seems an awfully long way so I need all the help and incentive I can get!

Therefore I've decided to run for the extrememly worthwhile charity of Macmillan Cancer Support who do a fantastic job helping thousands of cancer sufferers and their families every day by providing practical, medical, emotional and financial support and generally pushing for better cancer care.  

So every penny you can spare will help these unsung heroes and give me a reason to keep on running.
