Story

That's right, on Thursday 27th June 2019, as the clock strikes 12 midday, I will be going silent to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association UK. I will then remain silent until 12 midday the following day, so that's an entire 24 hours!

"Phew" I hear some of you say. "At last!" say others.

I will be taking on the challenge of losing my voice for 24 hours to help raise money for those who lose their voices permanently.

I have had personal experience of Motor Neurone Disease in my own family when my grandmother Margaret (or simply Grandma) was diagnosed back in 2014. Sadly the disease progressed rapidly and she passed away in April 2015. It was one of the hardest things to watch as she gradually lost control of her own body, whilst she was completely, and painfully, aware of what was going on.

Please help us move closer to finding a cure by donating, even the smallest donation will help. Thank you.

Wish me luck!!!
