HAWAY THE LADS!!

Team Ashwarth are taking on the Great North Run on 10th September! Being finely tuned athletes, we are looking to complete the half marathon in under 2 hours.

We are doing this to raise money for Blackpool Carers Centre. The charity supports and improves the lives of unpaid carers throughout Blackpool, some as young as 5 years old. Unpaid carers provide care for a parent, relative, partner or friend who could not manage without their help. This may be due to physical or mental illness, substance misuse, age or disability. 

As you can imagine, caring for a loved one can have a huge impact on your life and so this amazing charity provides emotional and practical support to families, as well as providing much needed respite trips and activities for carers.
