My Mother, Margaret, died early last year (9th February) from lung cancer having been diagnosed only four months previously. She spent the last two weeks of her life in St Wilfrid's Hospice and the amazing care she received from the wonderful Clinical Team has inspired me to raise much needed funds to help them to continue helping others in the final stage of their lives.

I will be trekking across the Sahara Desert over a 5 day period with temperatures of 40c in the day down to 0c at night. I will also be doing various fundraising events throughout the year and all the money I raise will go to the Hospice so thank you to anyone that donates.
