Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.

Why on earth are me and Chris walking and trudging 265 MILES (16 miles EVERYDAY) across open Moor land, over Britain's highest peaks & hills and camping in a small tent on the eve of winter on what is the toughest and most testing walk the UK has to offer up...............this is why.

My dear cousin David passed away just two months ago at the young age of 37. David was an incredible guy & great friend with a great personality and humour to match with a smile you'd never forget. An incredibly unique guy, really truly one in a million and he's left a huge void in our lives and is missed more than words can say. I'll be doing the walk in honour of my cousin & his life.

The charity 'MIND'  that were raising money for do an incredible job in helping and supporting people who suffer from mental illness in Brighton and the whole of the UK. You may not suffer from mental illness yourself but there's a good chance you know someone who does. To put you in the picture Mental Illness affects 1 in 4 of us in the UK, that's 17 MILLION people struggling to cope on a daily basis and that doesn't even include those who turn to alcohol and drugs to cope.

The charity cannot do the wonderful job they do in helping people cope and manage their illnesses unless they receive money in the form of donations from you wonderful people who are reading this page so please please dig deep, give generously for this 265 mile trek across Britain and in turn help those who just need the support, guidance and chance to manage their illness so they don't end up yet another statistic.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this and love to you all, this ones for you cuz, love you mate!  xxx
