Since 2010 we have been visiting Uganda as part of the CRMI Children of Hope project. We work with the charity's child sponsorship programme - helping to provide health care for all the sponsored children and their families. Additionally we work within the communities where our schools are based - running community health clinics that offer free health care and health education
We provide free medication and additionally a range of other services including dental and feminine hygiene kits, mosquito nets, shoes and clothes.
Providing these resources usually costs in the region of £6000 per trip - we pay our own travel costs to Uganda as well as our accommodation and food costs whilst we are there - so all money raised goes directly towards the costs of vital supplies and treatments.
Our next trip is for 2 weeks in January 2018.
Please support us in any way you can. More details of the charity are available via Facebook - "CRMI-Children of Hope", Twitter @CRMI_CoH and our website - www.childrenofhope.org.uk
