Throughout the month of June, we at Simplicity Group will be doing a series of 5KM runs to run at least a total of 1500KM all in aid of the Children's Cancer Unit Charity. The charity's work goes with out question and more can be found out about the charity's amazing work at:

In Northern Ireland alone 60 - 70 children are diagnosed each year with cancer. Every single one of them will visit the Children's Cancer Unit thorough their journey as it is the only specialist unit in Northern Ireland for treatment of cancer in children.

The mission statement of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology is that 'No child should die of cancer'. This is a vision that the Children's Cancer Unit in Belfast embraces, and as a charity partner, something that Simplicity Group want to help in any which way that we can, every penny counts!

We will be running at the local Park Runs on Saturday's throughout June as a company - and carrying out a series of runs midweek. Some of us have (loosely!!) agreed to attempt to run 30 x 5Ks in 30 days with the aim of boosting the Simplicity 1500KM even higher in KM ran, as well as hopefully the donations for a really worthy charity.
