As far as I am aware no one has ever before attempted to record an entire symphony on their own.

I am recording Beethoven's 5th Symphony one track at a time, using my own software and hardware, with no help from anyone else. Even all of the instruments are my own, with the exception of timpani, bass trombone and contrabassoon.

It will by no means be the world's best recording of Beethoven's 5th, but will certainly be the first performed by one person, and I hope that it will help to inspire others to make music.

I have chosen Music for All as my charity because they are great ambassadors for getting people involved in music and providing opportunities for those who cannot themselves afford to learn an instrument.
