We run 21 rehoming centres to save over 14,000 abandoned dogs annually

Story

The Dogs Trust do a great job, rehoming dogs, providing help and advice to new owners for the life time of that dog, sometimes even covering medical costs.  They receive no government funding and rely entirely upon supporters.

Here's how your contribution could help:
£100 can neuter a dog
£50 can feed 5 dogs for a month
£20 can cover the cost to care for a dog for a day - this could include his food, water, treats and medical care
£15 can cover the cost of medicine for a poorly dog
£5 can buy a basic collar and lead for a dog
£1 can buy a four legged friend a small bag of treats

In February 2009 Skitters was delivered to the Dogs Trust in Shoreham.  She has no background, she was handled as a stray, she only has an approximate age.  On March 22nd 2009, she moved in with us in Brighton, and has been a delight ever since.

On the 3rd October, we will all be joining in the Waggy Walks in Stanmer Park and walking 10K (in the rain according to the forecast) to raise some extra money seems like a small gesture for a great organisation.

Dogs Trust is entirely reliant on donations which go towards caring for the dogs they rehome every year.  So, please dig deep, and help the Dogs Trust find homes for dogs like Skitters

Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We rescue and rehome dogs all over the UK (Ireland too). We never put a healthy dog down. We also promote responsible dog ownership through youth education, neutering and microchipping campaigns. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©
