The Oxford Sleep-Out is an annual local community event to raise money for the homeless charities in Oxford. Currently there are around 250 homeless people living in hostels in Oxford, and around 40 people sleep rough each month whilst waiting to get into these services. 

People from all walks of life get involved to sleep outside for one night in November at the Oxford Sleep Out. This year's event will be on Saturday 14th November, when around 100 individuals will be sleeping in a local churchyard. 

I have many friends at the Oxford Gatehouse where I volunteer and so this event is very close to my heart.
