Macey's Marvels are sisters Sarah Macey, Ruth Fish and Laura Macey; and their friends Natalie Fisher, Elizabeth Allen and Charlotte Allen.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Alison Macey's death from breast cancer at the age of just 55. And this year too, Sarah has been given the all clear from the thyroid cancer that was diagnosed after the birth of her younger daughter. 

To raise awareness and support for women's cancer charities, Macey's Marvels is taking on the Ride the Night cycle challenge in May - a gruelling 100km from Windsor to London and back again, at a time when most sane people are safely tucked up in bed! 

We'll need physical and emotional endurance, firm thighs and a huge supply of chocolate biscuits.

None of us remain untouched by cancer. But we can give our all to make each individual contribution count in the fight against it.
