Story

For my dad - Malcolm Hoad

The 2.6 Challenge has been created with the aim of replacing funding that charities will lose due to the cancellation of the London marathon, which would have taken place on Sunday 26th April. Last year, the marathon raised nearly £67 million for UK charities.

The Somerville Foundation is particularly important to us because the founder was the consultant who looked and cared for my dad through some of  his illness..

The Somerville Foundation has been supporting adults and young people born with a heart condition for 26 years. With almost all charity fundraising events being cancelled, we need to raise funds to ensure we can continue to support congenital heart patients well into the future.
