Cyril Flint Befrienders is a Greater Manchester based charity whose aim it is to reduce loneliness and social isolation in older people, by offering a free befriending service. With research suggesting loneliness is as harmful to your health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day, we really need to take action to combat loneliness in our communities.

As a charity, they are dependent on donations, grants and fundraising to help them to continue to operate and to reach more lonely or isolated older people.

We have entered Cyril Flint Befrienders’ first ever Accumulator Challenge and need your support! The Charity has given every group a starting fund of £50 and the challenge is to turn this into as much money for the charity as possible in 6 months! The competition runs 1st April – 30th September 2017 and at the end of the six months, winners will be announced for:

• Most Funds Raised
• Best Publicity Piece
• Most Innovative Idea
