Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking on the #100MilesInAugust challenge to raise money for Hafal, a great organisation delivering a range of services to support individuals and families in Wales who are affected by serious mental illness. You can learn more about the work Hafal does here:

The challenge is to cover 100 miles (161km) by 31st August. I aim to run most of this distance but I might also do the occasional hike. I will post updates of my progress every few days or so.

I think supporting organisations like Hafal is especially important in the context of the current Covid-19 pandemic. The associated lockdowns, isolation, and uncertainty about the future present many additional challenges to people struggling with their mental health.
