On February 13th myself and the wonderful Emily Hatter travelled to Minas Gerais, Brazil to create two stunning murals in collaboration with the charity Meninadanca, and Graffiti Life. 

Meninadanca are a charity working with some of the most vulnerable girls in the world, girls who are at risk from, or victims of, sexual exploitation, girls as young as nine years old forced into the horrors of prostitution. 

Devastated to hear of the horrendous life of sexual exploitation commonly subjected to young girls growing up in the rural towns that line the BR-166 highway, we felt compelled to go there and help the best way we know how… painting!

The project consisted of painting two murals, whilst raising awareness and donations for Meninadanca and the incredible work they are doing.

We hope this will shine a light on this terrible situation and raise awareness for the incredible work of Meninadanca, who defend the rights and aid the wholesome development of these girls, restoring hope and supporting them to build a different future for themselves and the future generations.
