Story
For those that know me, you already know I am a keen runner and enjoy the challenge. It makes sense to raise money for a charity that is close to your heart whilst pushing yourself to achieve your next PB, hence why I am asking you to dig deep in your pockets and give what you can.
It'll be 15 years this year since I lost my dad. That's more than half of my lifetime without a father. Dad was loved by many, he made everyone laugh.
I don't remember much about dad being ill or the support we received during and after he had passed because I was still very young. What I do know is, Macmillan Cancer Support are determined to make sure that people living with cancer and their loved ones get the support they need. But they can’t do it without people like you.
If you knew my dad or not, I'm sure you know how much we miss and love him. 15 years on and that has never changed. So please keep an eye on my races this year and keep me going by raising as much money for Macmillan as we can! My first race is the Liverpool Half Marathon in March.
Thank you for your time and donation.
Love and peace, Sophie xxxxxx
