Story

On June 9th i’ll be attempting to run 100 miles as part of the South Downs Way 100 event in aid of the Birmingham Childrens Hospital Charity.

The event starts in Winchester and ends in Eastbourne. The run has over 12000ft of elevation (the equivalant to going up and over Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) and a 30 hour cut off.

Your fundraising enables us to make our hospital feel just like home. Your donations are helping us to find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases.”

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
