Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have always wanted to run the London Marathon before the age of 40 and tick it off my bucket list of things to do. But in 2012 I had major knee surgery which kept me off work for 7 months. This is why I started cycling. A few years ago I stood watching the runners as they run passed me whilst I was working and I saw so many runners with disabilities run passed me so I thought if they can run the marathon whilst raising money for charity why cant I so I decided I would apply in the ballot and I got in first time.
In January 2013 I lost my mum to cancer after a 3 year battle I then lost my dad in the July of the same year.
My parents had always supported Saint Francis by buying the Saint Francis Lottery Tickets and they supported my mum by providing a wheel chair.
I have already raised money for Saint Francis in 2016 by taking part in Ride London and members of my cycling club also raised over £5000 pound for the charity.
This is a local charity that have helped so many families that I know. I know everyone is asking for donations for some very worthwhile causes but if you can support me to achieve my fundraising goal it would mean so much to me.
Thank you everyone.
