With just a £30 donation you can contribute to making sure that each of our students in the Saharawi refugee camps (SW Algeria) has access to music and English education through Stave House in the Sahara.

What is it?

This scheme is a way for us to raise awareness about Stave
House in the Sahara, the children attending our classes, and their living/schooling situation in the Saharawi refugee camps. The money raised helps each child to continue their music & English education with us by providing school materials (50%) and helping towards their local teachers' salaries (50%).

How does it work?

The sponsor commits to making a minimum donation of £30 to this page by filling in, signing and emailing back to us the Sponsor a Saharawi Child registration form. After the donation has been made, we will link the sponsor with one of our students by sending an introductory package with a photo and details about the child and his/her family and living environment (see the 3 easy registration steps below). 

While Stave House in the Sahara is working in the refugee camps throughout the year, we will send updates about the child's development within the project and at school. As a sponsor, you can send letters and small presents to the child twice a year (from London). The sponsorship lasts for a year; if you want, you can continue sponsoring the same child in following years.

How is my money spent?

50% of the donation will buy school materials (notebooks, pens, etc.) for the sponsored child. The other 50% will contribute towards funding the salaries of the local Saharawi teachers/trainees for them to keep their training/teaching assistance in English and Stave House method.

3. Make a donation of at least £30 to this page & let
us know about it (if you can’t make a donation online but you still want to participate, please contact us and we’ll send you our bank details).

Then we'll send you all the details about your sponsored child, as well as regular updates!
