STAND-UP FOR PEACE!

Do your bit for the kids caught up in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict by coming along to Children of Peace's truly special evening of stand-up comedy at the Cockpit Theatre in London on Saturday, May 23rd.

All the money raised goes towards schemes that specifically bring Palestinian and Israeli kids together, in the hope that they will build friendships that will put an end to conflict in the future. You can see details of the work we do at
http://www.childrenofpeace.org.uk.

The illustrious line-up includes:

* Simon Munnery - surrealist legend, British comedy award nominee, Perrier award nominee and Sony radio award winner (and quoted by The Times as “The most exciting and important comedian of the moment")
* Pippa Evans - If.comedy award nominee
* Paul Foot - BBC New Comedy Award and Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award winner
* Kevin Eldon - of Brass Eye, Black Books, Green Wing, Spaced and I'm Alan Partridge fame
* Dan Skinner - member of double act Mr Winchester and Tommy, Perrier award nominated sketch group Dutch Elm Conservatoire and winner of Scotland on Sunday award for Best Comedy Show
* Josh Howie - raised as a Buddhist, trained as a rabbi, now one of the comedy circuit's most popular stand-ups
* The Aspidistras: Dark and delirious character comedians Maria Hodson and Gerardine Coyne
* Richard Morris - currently warm-up act for Ricky Gervais, Daily Telegraph Open Mic award nominee and our consummate compere for the evening
