Trek to Mt. Everest for my mum - Please support the Solent MS Centre
Fundraising for Solent MS Therapy Centre
Story
Those who know me well know that my mum was sadly a sufferer of multiple sclerosis for 30 years and that she sadly passed away last October leaving a massive hole in our lives. I was very close to mum and owe her so much so....
The Solent MS Centre located in Portsmouth treated mum for a very long time and was her salvation for her treatment for over a decade and the relationships she gained with the lovely people there were just as therapeutic as the treatment, let’s help keep this going and dig deep as the centre is run purely on donations and they need our help to raise funds to provide the excellent treatment that benifits so many.
The trip ahead is not an easy one, 3 flights to get there and then 18days of trekking though the isolated villages of the Himalayas in Nepal into the mountains to an elevation of 5,600m above sea level to reach Everest base camp, we leave on 3rd October so not much time to raise funds to assist the centre to keep providing their excellent treatment. They have a great physio there, I may need them after this!
Please dig deep and support the cause I will be forever greatfull for your donations as would mum as I know she’ll be pushing me up there when the going gets tough.
All money raised goes straight to the centre I am funding the trip!
