Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 21st June, I will be abseiling from Brighton's iconic British Airways i360 - the UK's highest viewing platform outside of London, to take part in the Rocking Horse Children's Charitable activity... The iDrop!

As the sun sets on the longest day of the year, I will be lowered from the open pod doors, which is 450ft above Brighton seafront (eeek!!!) to make my way down to the ground.

I am one of 30 others taking part in this challenge and I will be helping to raise funds for Chalkhill and Adolescent mental health unit in Haywards Heath, which happens to be the only mental health inpatient unit for young people.

Mental health increasingly affects many individuals and families. Its is something I have witnessed personally and as a result I am aware that there is more to be done in terms of education, medication, research and funding in order to provide adequate support for those in need.

It is an honor to support Rocking Horse Children's Charity and with your help and generosity, I aim to raise as much as possible to back this worthy cause!

Thank you in advance for your support and a massive thank you to my employer Healys, for providing me with the opportunity to take on this challenge and give something back! x
