We support children and young people to manage the trauma of sexual abuse

Story

Between 7 July and 7 September 2019 my daughter Eleanor and I will be taking part in Women on Wheels Cycle events, the minimum distance 20 miles and possibly the maximum distance 50 miles, although Eleanor doesn’t know that yet !!

The event on 1 September 2019 in Kesgrave is specifically raising funds for Fresh Start - new beginnings who work through Suffolk and Norfolk and was set up to provide a therapeutic service for children and young people up to 21 years who have reported being sexually abused and to offer support for families.

We thought that it would be a great idea to do all the events and ask people to give a donation for our efforts.  We will be paying for the cost of the events out of our own pocket meaning all monies raised will go to Fresh Start - new beginnings.

On the 7th July 2019 event in Bury there will be a special guest appearance from Claire Baldwin who is really looking forward  to cycling 25 miles.
