We help people with ME/CFS to understand and survive their illness

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the Great Scottish Run, Half marathon for the ME Association. My aim is to help raise awareness to a condition that affects 250,000 people in the U.K and also raise funds that will go towards promoting research into the physical nature and causes of the illness so that it can be diagnosed quickly and in the hope that a cure, one day, can be found.

ME/CFS is a chronically underfunded and under represented condition.

My friend Ryan's girlfriend Jenny is a sufferer and after reading her blog I was humbled by her strength and determination to promote and give a first hand insight into what it is like to live with the condition.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page, any donation towards the ME Association would be greatly appreciated by myself and the charity.

One last thing.. Would appreciate it if you could like/follow Jenny's page on Instagram & Facebook called - This Thing They Call Recovery.

Cheers

Stephen.

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.
