Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When my daughter was 18 months old, she was placed into her two Drug Induced Coma. What was to come, was the most stressful and frightening experience for both her and my families lives.

3am in the morning, I woke up randomly and turned to my partner and said that I was going to check on Lottie. I had never had the urge to check on her before, but for some reason I thought I would go with my gut and check in on her. What I found was not what I expected!! Lottie was laying in bed struggling to breath and had yellow bile surrounding her. We were rushed into A&E and placed into a 'Family Room' whilst they worked on her. 2 hours later and I was sat in Intensive Care not knowing exactly what was going on. 1 week in an Induced Coma and 2 weeks on the ward and we were back home for what we thought would be a recover period. Little did we know, 6 weeks later, the unimaginable happened and Lottie was rushed back into hospital and placed into her second Drug Induced Coma. 3 weeks in a coma and 2 weeks on the ward and we were finally given the all clear to come home and recover. Without the help of both the Children's Ward at Cardiff Heath Hospital and Asthma UK, we would not have our daughter with us today. At such a young age, the Doctors were unable to diagnose her condition but it finally emerged that Lottie had seasonal Asthma brought on by Pollen. Lottie now has regular check up's and has inhalers and antihistamines at home for the summer months.

I would ask you politely to please help me raise money for this fantastic cause and help save more lives like they did with my daughter.
