Story

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was first introduced to the Hospice by Carolyn Addison who is their corporate fundraiser.  Carolyn took me for a guided tour around the building and grounds and I was immediately touched - such a beautiful place, but I found it terrifying how much they relied on fundraising to keep everything going.  I signed up then under my business, SJ Locks, as a corporate partner along with other local businesses.

The Hospice host a number of fundraising events throughout the year however it was the Trek that really took my interest.  It will be a personal challenge on many levels for me from doing the 5 day Trek to the fundraising itself .  I have already committed to donating 10% of all invoiced business from when I signed up to do the Trek up until the end of October.

As well as Trekking we will be spending two days helping out at a non-profit Hospice in Kathmandu which supports terminally ill patients and their families.  The hospice is funded purely by donations so it will be great to give them some help and hopefully make a difference!
