Andy and I started rock climbing together at Lancaster uni. in 1978. For a couple of years we were almost a force to be reckoned with on the mountains and crags of Britain, the Alps, Norway and the U.S.A.!   20 years later on the day of the eclipse in 1999 we completed a traverse of the formidable Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye  and last year with us both approaching our 60s we managed to kayak around the Western Isles. Whilst storm bound on Knoydart we made plans for this audacious adventure up the west coast of Britain. Retirement and understanding wives has given us the chance to give it a really good try. I'll keep this page updated with our progress (Julie will usually have our exact location) and it would be great to meet up with you, your friends or relatives as we head north up the coastline from mid April to late June. You can probably contact me on "Messenger"
