Young Minds is the UK's leading charity committed to improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.

The resources available to support young people with their mental health are already limited. The situation is only going to get worse as more parents and educators try to access help with supporting young people with poor mental health as a direct result of the coronavirus pandemic.

We need to act now in response to an anticipated increase in the need for the services provided by charities such as Young Minds.

The students at St. Mary's Sixth Form, supported by their tutor team, have set themselves a challenge to walk (or run) the length of Africa in February. This is approximately 10650km. By completing this challenge, we're also hoping to highlight the benefits of exercise on our mental health.
