Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

In May 2018, a team of intrepid trekkers from the Stocksigns Group and it's partner companies will be tackling it's biggest charity challenge to date, in order to raise funds for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), 'Brighter Beginnings Appeal'

This epic challenge will involve the team climbing Mount Toubkal, North Africa's highest mountain in under 3 days.

Located within the Toubkal National Park in southwestern Morocco, the summit sits at 4, 167 meters high. Completing the climb will not only be a test of fitness, stamina and team skills, all the climbers face the real possibility of being affected by altitude sickness as they reach the top!

The 'Brighter Beginnings Appeal' recognises that avoidable accidents are the biggest killer of children and young people in the UK. This appeal focuses on keeping children safe and providing parents with information to help protect their children from accidents. By raising money, the charity is providing vital safety tips, tools and support to the families who most need them.

About the charity

Every year in the UK, 14,000 people have their lives cut short following an accident. Millions more end up in A&E, many suffering injuries so serious their lives are never the same again. Accidents are also the biggest killer of children and young people... Yet they don't have to happen.
