We hate running but we are doing it for Stu

A small group of us are running the Chester 10K for Hospice of the Good Shepherd because we miss him and want to give something back

Story

We lost Stu just over a year ago now to a nasty and aggressive cancer called Melanoma.   He is sadly missed.

Stu and his family received valuable support from a number of organisations when times got tough and the Hospice of the Good Shepherd was one that was there for him during his treatment and care.

He wanted to support them when he got better but sadly this didn't happen so to honour his wishes we have decided to commit to running the Chester 10k in March 2018.  If we are honest, none of us are runners and want to do it, and I have no doubt he is up there having a chuckle to himself about this, but we would like to do it to remember Stu, for the ace bloke he was and do it for a cause he would approve of.

Current runners include: Amanda Ridge, Elaine Broadhurst, Verity Smith, Soph & Mike Sixsmith, Steve & Heidi Cotton, Matt Roberts and Julie & Craig Fowler.  If you would like to join us please let us know.  The more the merrier...minimal fitness required!
