We support disabled people to participate fully and equally in society

Story

Hey everyone!

After recovering from last year's injury I am back training for the London Marathon to raise money for Disability Rights UK.

Disability Rights assist people on an individual basis to live independent lives, as well as finding work, education and skills. On a wider basis, the society also seeks to influence public attitudes and behaviours; it seeks a sea change in perceptions of disability and tackles hostility, bullying and hate crime.  It's an amazing cause and I'm really proud to be able to support it.

Please dig deep and give whatever you can afford, every little helps and it massively appreciated by both me and the charity.

As running a marathon wasn't enough (!) to add to the challenge / facilitate the training (depends on your perspective) I'll be doing dry 2020 and staying off the booze from 1 January to the date of the marathon (26 April).  I pledge to donate a tenner myself for every alcoholic drink I consume during that period!  It's gonna be a long winter!
