Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page. In October I am climbing to Everest base camp (height 5,500m) to raise money for the children’s rugby charity Wooden Spoon and would be very grateful if you would consider sponsoring me.
Just to reassure you, I will be paying for the cost of my trip and so every penny you donate will go to the charity.
In the UK, one child in every hundred suffers from a lifelong disability that will profoundly affect his or her ability to lead a full and happy life and more than 3.5 million young people grow up in low income households or live in an environment where they are subjected to poverty of aspiration. Wooden Spoon is a rugby charity dear to my heart which is dedicated to helping these kids to live happier, richer lives through outreach programmes and capital projects to build community facilities. So please dig deep and donate now.
